En la actualidad, la legislaci\u00f3n al respecto en el pa\u00eds es escasa. Aun no se ha creado una entidad reconocida a nivel nacional que vele por la protecci\u00f3n de la autonom\u00eda y los derechos de los participantes de estudios de investigaci\u00f3n en seres humanos a nivel de pa\u00eds, o que regule el funcionamiento y la organizaci\u00f3n de todos los procesos que llevan a cabo los comit\u00e9s de \u00e9tica de Investigaci\u00f3n institucionales ya conformados. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo hacer una reflexi\u00f3n cr\u00edtica sobre la creaci\u00f3n de un comit\u00e9 nacional de \u00e9tica de Investigaci\u00f3n en Honduras, para esto, se enfatizar\u00e1 en la Red de Comit\u00e9s de \u00c9tica de investigaci\u00f3n, los conflictos de inter\u00e9s en la conformaci\u00f3n de los comit\u00e9s de \u00e9tica de Investigaci\u00f3n, la capacitaci\u00f3n de sus miembros y la legislaci\u00f3n nacional sobre \u00e9tica de investigaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds.&nbsp; Es una necesidad elemental conformar un ente regulador de los aspectos \u00e9ticos en la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica que se realiza en Honduras, que se encargue de velar por la protecci\u00f3n de nuestra poblaci\u00f3n,&nbsp;principalmente la que se encuentra en vulnerabilidad y que es sometida a estudios multic\u00e9ntricos, ensayos cl\u00ednicos de medicamentos y vacunas, entre otros estudios que involucr\u00e1 la participaci\u00f3n directa de seres humanos y otras especies
